HAZY DREAMS is a new live music and arts festival launching in the Western Cape in March 2027, created to reignite South Africa's independent festival culture.

Set within a breathtaking, previously unused venue in the Franschhoek Valley, just outside Cape Town, HAZY DREAMS will bring together over 1,000 music lovers, artists, and creatives for an immersive weekend of live music, art, and community. Against a backdrop of dramatic mountains and open landscapes, the festival will showcase a carefully curated lineup of local and international acts alongside striking installations, creative experiences, and thoughtful site design.

Built by a team that has helped shape South Africa's alternative music scene for decades, HAZY DREAMS aims to become a new cultural landmark, celebrating independent music, artistic expression, and meaningful connection while laying the foundation for a festival that will grow for years to come.

WHO WE ARE

HAZY DREAMS is the collective vision of a team of musicians, event producers, promoters, and music industry professionals who have spent decades shaping South Africa's independent music culture.

Between them, the team has built festivals, managed venues, produced tours, developed artists, engineered sound, and delivered many memorable events through projects including Rocking The Daisies, Endless Daze, Psych Night, The Assembly, Glitch Culture, Hey Hey Now Now, Best Day Surfana Festival, Oskido’s Big Day Out & The Good Times Co. Their experience spans every aspect of the live music ecosystem - from artistic curation and production to audience development, talent management, and large-scale event delivery.
